Why Would You Want to Be a Facilitator of a Christian 12 Step Group?

The main reason you would want to become a facilitator is because God has called you to it.  You know the saying, "If God brought you to it, He will bring you through it."   Other than that most important reason, there are other considerations.  Accepting the responsibility of facilitating a Walking the 12 Steps with Jesus Christ study group means you are accepting your part in accomplishing the Great Commission:  going into all the world to spread the gospel. 

Luke 9:23 - 25 "Then He said to them all, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.  For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it.  For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and is himself destroyed or lost?" 

If you take this commandment from our Lord seriously, you have a unique opportunity to be used by God to break the chains that keep a human being enslaved to some type of addiction.  That's a tremendous reason WHY you might want to become a Christian 12 Step facilitator.
