MARCH 5th and 6th we will be holding our SEMI ANNUAL YARD & BAKE SALE.  To be held in the same location as last year's event, we hope it will be a blessing to many and also that it will raise desperately needed funds for this ministry. We are asking for usable, clean and working items that you would not be embarassed to own. Donations may be brought to our Ocala office at 415 NW 1st Ave Monday through Friday between 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM until March 2nd. If you are unable to bring in your item(s) please call us at 352-732-0877 to arrange for pick up in Marion Co. Christian 12 Step Ministry survives only by God's grace, fundraising events such as this and others, our annual banquet, and financial donations from good people like you. Please pray for us as God leads and remember to come on out to our fundraising YARD SALE even if to just say hello.

Okay, here I go again feeling frustrated and definately impatient !!!! I have been told never to ask for patience but if you don't ask you don't get either. My main problem is I am very task oriented when I should be people oriented. After all, we are to encourage one another and show love and compassion. I had an encounter today with one of God's challenges for my life. Don't they always seem to show up when you least need to be involved with something other than what you are in the middle of? |

It has been our experience that there is no one-size-fits-all recovery plan. God is a God who seems to delight in diversity. God made us as unique individuals and responds to our specific needs with respect for this uniqueness. God is not limited to counselors, or to pastors, or to twelve step groups to get us the help we need. God often chooses to use counselors or pastors or twelve step groups, but whoever God chooses to use in our lives, it is always God who is bringing the healing. |

As we struggle to acknowledge our need for help, it becomes very important that we have hope. We need to have hope that the help we need is available. Without this hope, we will not have the strength or courage to get help. |
